Talk:Grain direction
From MediaWiki
I applaud the expansion this page to discuss the grain of paper and textile - it's a big improvement! However, I think this page many have some unclear information about grain direction in paper. Paper is more likely to curl around the grain axis. So, it might be more clear to say "The orientation of fibers tends to make the material stiff when bent perpendicular to those fibers, and more flexible and likelier to curl in the direction when bent parallel to them. These pages describes it well: http://printwiki.org/Grain and https://printingpartners.wordpress.com/2013/06/06/paper-grain-direction/ --Kkelly (talk) 09:53, 29 October 2015 (CDT)
