Fran Ritchie is a graduate of the Art Conservation Program at Buffalo State College, currently working as the Objects Conservator for the National Park Service at Harpers Ferry Center. Prior to the NPS, she was an Assistant Conservator in the Anthropology Objects Lab at the American Museum of Natural History (AMNH), a Project Conservator in the Natural Science Collections Conservation lab (also AMNH), and Mellon Fellow at the National Museum of the American Indian. Among other positions, Fran served the Emerging Conservation Professionals Network as Chair from 2015-2016. She also served on the AIC Nominating Committee, and is the current OSG Chair (2020-2021). Fran is a Professional Associate of AIC.
