Ashley L. Stanford is currently the Andrew W. Mellon Fellow in Photography Conservation at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA). She is a recent graduate of the Winterthur/University of Delaware Program in Art Conservation, class of 2024, where she specialized in photograph conservation and minored in paper conservation. She completed her third year internship placements split between the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) and The Better Image in New York City. She has completed previous internship experiences at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA), Gawain Weaver Art Conservation, The Menil Collection, and the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston. She is also an active member of AIC, currently serving as ECPN Vice Chair (2024-2025), and previously as PMG ECPN Liaison (2022-2024), ECPN Outreach Officer (2020-2022), and Houston Regional Liaison (2018-2020).
