Alexander Bero is currently the lead of the BPG WIki Bibliographies subgroup. He is developing expertise in wiki editing in order to improve the reference markup, and is involved in updating the format of the wiki to bring it into line with JAIC standards. He is also interested in increased access to scholarly works, and in supporting the broader scholarly needs of the conservation community.

Alexander is currently a Special Collections Conservator at New York University's Barbara Goldsmith Book and Paper Conservation Lab. He has also worked at the Frick Art Reference Library and Jewish Theological Seminary, and interned at the American Museum of Natural History. He received his MS in Information Studies with a Certification of Advanced Study in Conservation of Library and Archival Materials from the University of Texas at Austin in 2010.
