• citations/instructions for making saturated magnesium bicarbonate solution with a sodastream
• earlier treatment methods used full strength magnesium bicarbonate, it is more common now to use 25% diluted, or ethanol-modified solutions. (see Krueger 2003)
• Media changes as a result of alkalization: IGI acquires a warmer tone with magnesium bicarbonate, other media is also pH sensitive
• factors to consider when using bubbly/fizzy solutions (use care with friable media)
