Bodleian Library Broxb. 37.10. The finest Irish gold tooling. Irish (Dublin), 18th century. Red goatskin with gilt-tooled outer border of floral rolls; lozenge-shaped centrepiece made from small tools. Bound by the craftsman working in Dublin and known to us as the 'College Binder', whose mastery of gold tooling equalled anything produced in England at the time.
